People's Fair Health & Wellness Initiative
This year, the Capitol Hill People's Fair has teamed up with the Governor's office and various community groups and others to create a Health & Wellness Area at the People's Fair. Festival attendees will be able to get free health screenings, participate in exercise and nutritional demonstrations, get important tips on healthy living as well as learn about the Affordable Care Act. Join us at the People's Fair June 1 and 2 and get on the path to healthy living! Together, we can make Colorado the healthiest state.

Join CHUN Parents and meet other families in Greater Capitol Hill!
Are you a parent raising a child in or near Capitol Hill? CHUN Parents is a new group formed on Facebook that is meant to bring together urban dwellers who've chosen to raise their children in a city environment. All parents with children under age 18 who live within the CHUN boundaries of Broadway to Colorado Blvd between 1st and 22nd are welcome to join!

CHUN Continues Historic Tears-McFarlane House Funding Drive
As the steward of the Tears-McFarlane House which CHUN utilizes as a community center, CHUN is fortunate to have received a grant from the State Historic Fund to repair and restore masonry, windows and ballustrades on the building. But in order to raise the required 25% match, we need the community's help.
