NEW THIS YEAR - artists who apply before February 1, 2010 will receive 10% of your booth fee (for one10x10 space - you may purchase a double or triple booth, but will get only one discount).
Each year the CHUN Capitol Hill People's Fair attracts hundreds of artisans from around the country. These artisans specialize in creating exqusite works of art by hand that are one-of-a-kind materpeices. No mass produced or commerically manufactured items are allowed in our Arts & Crafts category and all work must be shown by the artisan. The Fair is a juried show to ensure the reputation as Colorado's Premier Arts and Crafts Festival. A panel of jurors select only the highest quality of artistic workmanship to represent a variety of artistic forms.
The jury selects the best overall works of art based on Originality, Quality of workmanship, and Artistic Expression.

Individual Artists in each category are selected to appear in the Artisan Showcase. Categories include: Ceramics, Painting, Sculpture, Wood, Fiber, Dried Floral, Drawing/Graphics, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metal, Mixed Media, Paper, Photography, Wearable Art.
Application will be available after December 5, 2008, for the 2009 Fair. Please download one here or contact our office at 303-830-1651 to have one mailed to you. The deadline is March 13, 2009.
The Arts & Crafts category consists of handmade arts & crafts that will be shown by the artisan at the Fair. No commercially manufactured, mass produced, or import items are allowed in the Arts & Crafts category.
- a. Starting materials must be significantly altered and enhanced by the craftsperson.
- b. The handcrafted components must dominate any commercial components.
The Arts & Crafts category is juried and each exhibitor must send four digital images of work with application. Categories for Arts & Crafts are: Candles; Ceramics; Children's Items (non-wearable); Drawings/Graphics; Dried Floral; Fiber (non-wearable); Glass; Jewelry; Leather; Metal (non-jewelry); Painting; Paper; Photography; *Scents and Oils (handmade); Soap (handmade); Sculpture; Wearable Art (adult/children); Wood; Other.
