The Sundry Category at the CHUN Capitol Hill People's Fair is offered for those exhibitors who are neither Arts and Crafts nor Nonprofit organization, but who offer items or services that contribute to the spirit of the Fair. Examples of Sundry entries might include: pre-packaged food, balloons, face painting, Tarot, chair massage or other unique items or services.

The CHUN Capitol Hill People's Fair offers a special opportunity for exhibitors to reach over 250,000 potential customers.
The Sundry Category at The CHUN Capitol Hill People's Fair is offered for those exhibitors who are neither Arts and Crafts exhibitors nor Nonprofit organizations, but who offer items or services that contribute to the spirit of the Fair.
- Examples of Sundry entries might include: pre-packaged food, balloons, face painting, Tarot, chair massage or other unique items or services.
- *Artisans who craft handmade scents and oils exclusively or in conjunction with another Arts & Crafts category MAY be eligible to apply as Arts & Crafts exhibitors. If you wish to sell handmade scents and oils, please contact the CHUN office at 303-830-1651.
- Booth space in the Sundry category is limited. All Sundry category entries will be reviewed for entry by the Exhibitor Relations Committee. In reviewing Sundry entries, the Exhibitor Relations Committee will give significant weight to those items or services that are unique, have mass appeal and contribute to the overall festive atmosphere of the Fair.
- The decisions of the Exhibitor Relations Committee are final and no appeals will be granted.
- The Exhibitor Relations Committee will review Sundry Category applications and applicants will be mailed notification by mid-April.
- A CHUN People's Fair Countdown will be in the mail early May for all accepted applicants. This will include tax forms, if available, from the City and County of Denver and the State of Colorado, as well as space assignments, park access pass, load-in/load-out times & days, directions and general Fair information.
Applications must include:
- A check or money order made payable to CHUN, or completed credit card information for full amount due.
- If you are taking advantage of the split payment option, please note: 1) Both checks must be sent with the application; 2) Each check must be made for one-half (1/2) the "Total Fees Due;" 3) The first check will be deposited upon receipt of your application; 4) The second check must be postdated for May 1, 2012 and will be deposited on that day.
- Photographs, samples, and/or brochures which accurately represent the items or services to be sold are strongly encouraged. All items are non-returnable.
- A completed and signed Application Form acknowledging that all policies and rules have been read and are understood.
- Failure to include fees at the time of application will result in the application being automatically disqualified.
- Declined or invalid credit cards, or NSF checks are subject to a $25 fee.
- If you wish to withdraw your application from the Fair, you will receive a refund of the Total Fees Due minus the Application Fee and all (if any) Additional Category fees if your request is made by May 1, 2012. There are no refunds for requests to withdraw after May 1, 2012.
- Photographs, samples and brochures are not returnable.
- Refunds will be processed by check only!
Application Deadline is March 9, 2012.
- Exhibitor must be present at his/her booth throughout the Fair.
- Booths may not be bought for resale.
- Exhibitor may only offer for sale items or services typified by the photographs, samples or brochures submitted.
- Exhibitor is solely responsible for the delivery, handling, set up and removal of his/her own displays and materials.
- The CHUN People's Fair reserves the right to restrict any exhibitor with respect to methods of operation and display. Any discrepancy or violation of these policies will result in Fair Management exercising its right to remove the Exhibitor who is in violation.
- There is NO RAIN DATE, and NO REFUNDS will be given for weather related problems.
- A 10 x 10 space will be assigned to each Exhibitor, limit two spaces.
- Exhibitor must furnish his/her own booth set up, including appropriate tent, canopy, tables, chairs, etc.
- Denver Parks and Recreation prohibits the staking of tents in Civic Center Park. Exhibitors must make arrangements to have their tent weighted and secured.
- All exhibits must be entirely contained within the 10 x 10 booth space.
- Exhibitors may not leave their assigned booth spaces to sell, solicit, or distribute information in the walkways.
- Minimal security will be provided overnight, so all goods of value should be removed from the grounds.
- The CCHPF and CHUN are not responsible for the loss of damage of any items.
Exhibitors are welcome to visit the Exhibitor Hospitality Tent for complimentary beverages and light snacks both days from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Exhibitor Relations representatives will be on hand to assist exhibitors with any problems or questions that may arise. Please don't hesitate to aske for help at any time during the Fair.
