Good Neighbor Agreements

Good Neighbor Agreements
Moving Neighborhoods Forward Through Collaboration and Consensus

A Good Neighbor Agreement is an agreement between a registered neighborhood organization (RNO)--like Capitol Hill United Neighborhoods--and other parties working collaboratively to address a set of issues in a collaborative way. It is a way for each party to understand the other’s perspectives and results in some form of compromise.  The following is a sampling of Good Neighbor Agreements CHUN has worked over the past decade.
  • January 2021 - Colorado Village Collaborative Temporary Safe Outdoor Site (TSOS) (1595 N. Pearl St.)
  • January 2021 - EarthLinks Temporary Safe Outdoor Site (TSOS) (14th Ave. and Grant St.)
  • December 2020 - Patterson Inn (11th Ave. and Pearl St.)
  • September 2020 - Tears-McFarlane Mansion (13th Ave. and Williams St.)
